Cookie Policy

Draft, awaiting legal review

Effective from date

Cookies are small files your browser stores when you visit a website. AdPatrol uses necessary cookies to work, and analytics cookies only with your consent.

Contents

1.Necessary cookies

Without them you couldn’t sign in and your settings couldn’t be saved. We don’t need your consent for them.

Some settings, such as the light or dark look and recent searches, are stored only in your browser (local storage). They aren’t sent anywhere.

2.Analytics cookies

With your consent we use PostHog, which stores data in the EU (Frankfurt). We measure which pages and features get opened, so we know what to improve. IP addresses are anonymised and we don’t record screens.

NamePurposeDuration
ph_…_posthog, ph_…_posthog_cpma random ID for the browser and session1 year

It keeps similar data, also named ph_…, in the browser’s storage (local storage and session storage). Without your consent, PostHog doesn’t load at all and stores nothing.

3.How to change your choice

You can change your choice at any time in the cookie settings. You’ll also find the link in the profile menu in AdPatrol. When you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies and other analytics data from your browser.

We remember your choice for 6 months, then ask again.

4.Third-party cookies

We don’t use advertising cookies. When you pay, we send you to Stripe’s pages, where Stripe uses its own cookies under its own policy.

5.Cookies in your browser

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Without the necessary cookies, though, you can’t sign in to AdPatrol.
